What is unregistered ("black") work?

unregistered work

What is unregistered work?

It is the so-called black job, which occurs when you are not registered in the registry book that the employer must keep and you are not registered in the ANSES

What benefits does the registered work have?

When you are registered you have:

  • Social work.
  • Family's asignations.
  • Retirement contributions.
  • Coverage in case of work accident.
  • Unemployment insurance.
How do I know if I am registered or not?

You can:

  • Ask your employer to show you the log book.
  • Make the query at the ANSES self-consultation terminals.
  • Consult the AFIP.
When I went to work I signed a contract, does that mean I'm blank?

No. Signing a contract does not indicate that you are already registered. But it serves as proof if the employer wants to ignore the employment relationship.
